Regular donation – You can support us on a regular basis by completing a standing order form. You can give as much or as little as you feel able and it will help us to plan more effectively knowing we are receiving money on a regular basis.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer you can increase the value of your gift by 28% by completing a brief Gift Aid Declaration. We can then claim the tax back from the Inland Revenue every time you send a gift. You can download a Declaration, to print and post to us or e-mail sue.condie@amberweb.org and we’ll send one to you.
Payroll Giving
Ask your company if you can make a regular donation through Payroll Giving – a tax-effective way for an employee to donate direct from their income (monthly or weekly). For example, a £10 donation only costs the donor £7.80 (at basic rate of tax) but Amber actually receives £11! Share Giving
Gifts of shares to charity are exempt from capital gains tax, and you can claim tax relief equal to the market value of the shares on the day you make the gift, together with any associated costs such as brokers fees.
