Unemployed & homeless? Abusing drugs, alcohol? We can help

help homeless unemployed young people whose lives are going nowhere to gain the motivation, confidence and skills they need to gain employment and appropriate accommodation; homeless unemployed young people aged 18 to 30 who may also have misused drugs or alcohol, lack self-esteem or been involved in crime or are ex-offenders. In a residential setting Amber offers a fresh start; a chance to sort out problems, build self-confidence, gain practical skills and qualifications and generally acquire the know-how for independent living and work.

Our track record shows that Amber works. In 2009, Amber's success rate was 84%. That's young people who completed the Amber programme and left having found a job, a training course or in a few cases having achieved a major personal goal. All left into stable accommodation. That’s 101 young people who have transformed their lives from one of chaos and no hope to one of independence and a brighter future.
